I need a phillips rj45 data and phone wall jack wiring diagram?

I purchased several of these data and phone jacks from Lowes http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=234923-578-PH60037&lpage=none thinking they were the normal punch down block style. However, they use color coded screw down terminals instead. Does anyone have a cat5 wiring diagram to map between the single color coded wires on the jack to the twisted pair cat5 wires? Thanks in advance for the help.

I hope this helps, BTW CAT5 has 4 wires not just two, a twisted pair is different from CAT5.

the cat 5 port MUST be punch down
or you will not get the speed rating
take them back and go to home depot and get he leviton port plate system
where both the phone and data ports are punchdown and color coded

I bought the same exact computer/phone wall jack. Here it goes. Wire up you wall jack in this order (from cat5 cable to wall jack).

    Orange/White to Blue
    Orange to Orange
    Green/White to Black
    Blue to Red
    Blue/White to Green
    Green to Yellow
    Brown/White to Brown
    Brown to White

That should work because it’s working for my computer. Good luck
