Hello Jeremy, Jeremy here running a magicJack with my macbook pro intel. When you bought that new cordless phone does the callerID work? I have tried software updates for the magicJack and much more. I am using a uniden 6.0 Dect simple 2 phone system. I tried my old 5.8 ghz phone as well and no luck. The callerId works fine on the computer screen but not on my phones.

$40 the first year.. for the actual hardware + service, and then only $20 a year after. ($1.70 per month) It's actually a really cool product. The call quality is great too.

To be honest, i haven't even tried the caller ID. I don't really plan on anyone having the number, so I'm not sure. Quick question for you.. does yours hang up at specific times? Mine hangs up every time I've been on the phone for 117-119 minutes. I've tried software updates, and it didn't help. Not sure what the problem is.

To tell you the truth I have not been on a call over 100 minutes yet. I have heard somewhere of that happening. I also know if you read the fine print, its not truly unlimited but as long as you stay in an average amount of use with all the users, some using it more than others, should make this number huge. Hope this helps. There is an online chat i think that is pretty nice for things like call limit questions etc. but the callerID thing has no help on their FAQ. Jeremy
