		<description>You can&#039;t plug it directly from the dsl filter. You have to have it go through the modem. You can get a router for fairly cheap. It will make it so you can plug multiple computers into one network. 

You can also hook the two computers up to each other with a Ethernet cord and have the second computer use the first ones internet connection. You won&#039;t need a router for that. Just another Ethernet cord.</description>

You actually don&#039;t want to filter the DSL line on connections that are going out to the internet.  That connection is what uses the modem. 

You filter the lines on the ones you want to use for a phone line.</description>
